Backups and Recovery

bit.io provides 7 days of daily backup snapshots with recovery available via support request. Older databases that haven't been active will still retain up to 7 daily snapshots from before the day it was last active.

In addition, bit.io internally retains a rolling 72 hours of continuous backups via WAL Archiving and stores those backups in multiple cloud zones. With this approach, bit.io can perform point-in-time-recovery in the unlikely event of data corruption or data loss -- right up to the instant of the incident.

Excessive restore requests may require a fee.
